Rain Forest Aerial Tram

The Rain Forest Aerial Tram – Atlantic is a 475-hectare (1,200-acre) private reserve, it shares a 10 km border with Braulio Carrillo National Park and constitutes a buffer zone between the park and farming lands.
The park´s multiple gateways take you to each unique rainforest dimension: flights above the canopy treetop, guided nature hikes for all levels of physical ability, a snake exhibit ( with more than 10 reptile species), a multi-colored Frog and Butterfly Garden, bird watching and opportunities to overnight at the Rain Forest Lodge whose walls all but blend right into the forest.    The Aerial Tram travels from ground level to 50 meters (approx. 9o feet) above the forest floor.

Located at an eco-tourism and research facility near Braulio Carrillo National Park, your tour will begin with a 2-hour Van ride. Once you arrive at the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Park, you will be greeted and welcomed by the friendly staff and be shown a short video presentation. You'll glide pleasantly through the treetops on the 80-minute tram ride. This is a phenomenal opportunity to see a primary forest and its natural splendor first hand. The open-air gondolas with canvas awnings seat six passengers and a naturalist guide. You will also have time to visit the gift shop and choose amongst beautiful souvenirs to take back home with you.
Enjoy lunch at the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Restaurant and then continue your experience visiting the zip line canopy tour, constructed with twin cables and a double pulley system.
